Athleta

Even if you don't exercise, it is totally "in" to look like you do :). Athletic clothing for everyday wear is totally acceptable in our society today. This is because they make athletic clothing much more fashionable than they used to.

I found some great buys at www.athleta.com . I would personally wear all three of these items together, but they all definitely come in different colors. The jacket is $64.00, the shirt is $39.00 and the pants are $69.00. Whoo-hoo!

Inc International Concepts

Inc International Concepts reminds me of a good friend of mine from college who would always pull out the cutest outfits she would buy at Macys back at home in Memphis (Julie...this is you just in case you didn't know :)

I forgot about Inc until I was shopping at Macys last year during the holidays and I found the cutest wrap that became one my staples for Christmas parties. I got many compliments on my frugalista buy!

When searching on the Internet the other day, I found some really cute Fall staples. I love the first blouse because everyone needs a button down in their closet. Of course, a crisp white blouse is more ideal, but if you are a more daring shopper (Jennifer this is for you :)...this leopard print button down is so in for the Fall. I love how versatile it could be. Pair it with some red suede heels and black pants for a night on the town or wear it to work under a black suit and gold jewelry.

The second item is something I have my eye on. I love wrap sweaters and I am so glad they are back in this season. They hide all those rear end imperfections! This one is great because you can wear it with black or brown.

The third picture is a faux fur vest which again is so in the season. I have yet to be brave and purchase one, but this one would be a great one if you are so inclined :)

Happy Shopping! :)

P.S. Everything above is less than $100.00 and if you purchase them online at www.macys.com they have a promotion going on where you can get 15% off!!! Whoo-hoo!!!

Target Peep Toe Wedges

I have to thank my mom for this find! I must have inherited my love for "steals and deals" from her. Growing up, we did frequent the T.J Maxx down the street :)

The black peep toe wedges above are totally in style and really cute on. For only $29.99, these are a must have for the season. I think these would look adorable with black tights and a cute Fall dress, bell bottom jeans and a blouse, or even skinny black jeans and a tunic. These shoes have endless possibilities!

Reader Request

I had my first reader request. Whoo-hoo. She wanted me to find a tweed blazer under $100.00...well I finally found one and then I couldn't resist posting another great find!

Urban Outfitters has the tweed blazer above for only $49.00. I love the look in the picture and how they have styled it with colored jeans and just a simple white T-shirt.

The second blazer is actually herringbone and you can find it on piperlime for $69.00.

Sculptural Cuff

I have been looking for a "larger" cuff bracelet for a long time. I started looking when I saw Gwyneth Paltrow on "Glee" this past season and she was wearing a beautiful long black jersey dress (probably Ralph Lauren or something...) and she had two over sized gold cuffs on each wrists. It looked so chic!

After much searching, I finally found the "one" at Ann Taylor. I especially liked the price at only $68.00. I think this bracelet would be a good buy for any one's wardrobe!!!!

Urban Outfitters

Did you know that Free People, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters are all owned by Urban Outfitters Inc.? Kind of obvious once you think about it. They are all different in their own way, but definitely intertwined. I love them all for their distinctiveness

Urban Outfitters has always been the more edgy and dark one of the three. I wouldn't classify myself as either one of these things, but I definitely can find a thing or two there that I like. I appreciate how different it is from the mainstream.

When shopping online recently, I found these pieces above that would look great with the rest of your Fall/Winter wardrobe. I love the chandelier earring for only $18.00. They would add punch to any outfit this Fall whether you were dressing up to an event or dressing down with jeans. The purse was so adorable I couldn't resist or the price tag at$34.00. The cross-body bag is so in for the Fall and I just loved the print on this one making it more of a casual day bag. The last item is an adorable sweater wrap. I love the option shown above, but it does come in another color if these colors don't fit your palette :)
